The Bestiary Update adds a rework for the internal monsters engine, changing the previous monster's AIs and adds the remaining Monsters. This update also released alongside an Overvehicle freeflight demo.
It was released on the 23rd of May 2025
All monsters have received improvements in this update. These are the main ones that all monsters received:
- Hitting the Eye of XANA will now instakill a monster.
- Some monster parts are categorized as indestructible, like Megatank shells, where monsters will not take any damage if hit.
- Monster type and count at Towers and when spawning will now depend on the amount of players in the server and the Level of those players.
- Monsters may now spawn as sentinels. They are bigger variants of monsters that will make tower deactivation impossible unless killed.
- Monsters will now disappear upon tower deactivation.
- All monsters will now be able to target towers and the Core.
- Monsters will now attempt to spread out and avoid other monsters.
- Most ground monsters will now run away from the player when nearby.
Some Classes have received changes to adapt them to fight against the new monsters better.

This update brought a lot of changes to the old monsters. Here's some of the most important ones:
- Bloks will now be able to use fire rings, ice beams and a new rapid fire attack.
- Kankrelats can now switch between loading and unloading their lasers in order to trade speed and damage.
- Mantas can now lay mines that will track their current target.
- Megatanks can now rotate and shoot a horizontal beam.
- Megatanks will now never run you over unintentionally.
- Instead, they have a specialized run over attack that makes them more likely to fall off the Sector as they can not change directions while using this attack.
- Megatank beams can't hurt twice now.
- Megatanks can now charge for less time to trade damage and piercing power of their beam.
- Weakly charged lasers will now immediately retract upon hitting an obstacle.
- Charged lasers will now pierce all obstacles in their path.
- Megatank lasers may now be held indefinitely with a shield.
- Megatank beams will now have way more knockback.
- Megatank beam collision has been greatly improved.
- Creepers will now have a climbing animation.
- Creepers now don't take fall damage.
- Creeper AI has been greatly improved.
- Mantas may now be ridden by xanafied players if found.
This update added the 4 remaining monsters that were missing from MRCL.
The Krab is a new monster that can switch between shooting powerful lasers or weak ones as their main attack. Krabs can be ridden by xanafied players if found.
The Tarantula is a new monster that will target players and shoot incessantly, rest, and then resume the attack. Tarantulas can be ridden by xanafied players if found.
The Hornet is a new flying monster that will appear mainly in surface sectors. It can switch between loaded lasers, a laser spree and an acid projectile that will create an acid pool if dodged.
The Scyphozoa is a very anticipated monster that appears very rarely to trap a player and steal their data or possess them.
The Scyphozoa will inflict a fear effect on their target so escape is more difficult. After releasing the warrior, there's a chance the warrior will unlock an immunity to it.
There's 4 drain modes that the Scyphozoa can use against players:
- Energy drain: The Scyphozoa will drain all of a warrior's Energy and use it to make the following attacks more powerful. Every 100 energy drained is equal to one Return To The Past.
- DNA drain: The Scyphozoa will cause Missing DNA Sequences that the player must fix from Sector 5.
- Memory drain: The Scyphozoa will take away one random Knowledge piece from its target.
- Possession implantation: The Scyphozoa will implant xanafication on a warrior. This possession will disappear after a devirtualization or after destroying a sector.
A new overvehicle freeflight demo was enabled with this update.
Some changes added from the previous freeflight demo are:
- Vehicles will only be able to freeflight with direct sky access.
- Vehicles will not be able to freeflight above a certain height in sectors.
- Vehicles will consume triple nitro when over the sea.
- Nitro usage will no longer decrease when moving away or towards the sea.
- Wings will lose the stamina bar while freeflying.
Some new changes added since are:
- Vehicles will only be able to freeflight if their health is above 75%.
- Vehicles will show their healthbar blue only if they're able to freefly.
- Vehicles will now regenerate half a health point every 20 seconds.

- This update was released 1 day after a fake monster vote where people were voting between the Tarantula, Krab and Hornet to be released next.
- By the time the update was released, the Krab was in the lead with 60% of the votes, followed by the Tarantula (24%) and the Hornet (15%)
- The staff's predictions of the vote was that the Hornet was going to win due to the promise to work on freeflight next if it got added.
- The Krab model was first shown in 2020.
