The Megatank is a big Monster inside a spherical shell. It can cause massive damage but is rather slow, which can be used against it.
It may seem scary, but its weak point is very big and can easily be hit while it is open. However, it can not be damaged at all while closed.
It has four different attacks which all have different chances of being chosen.

The simple beam is an attack with little charging time. It is relatively weak compared to the rest of the Megatank's arsenal.
This attack will instantly start retracting if it hits an obstacle or its target, allowing you to hide behind walls to avoid it.

Chance to switch to Horizontal Beam | 5% |
Chance to switch to Roll | 15% |
The horizontal beam is similar to the charged beam, however the Megatank will stand on its side to shoot it horizontally, covering a large area around the monster.
You will have to crouch or gain height to avoid the beam.
Sentinel Megatanks can not use this attack as they are too big.

The roll is a simple attack in which the Megatank will close itself and roll towards its target, which will instantly devirtualize them if they are hit.
However, the monster can not change directions while using this attack and can therefore be lured towards the Digital Sea.
