Energy is a type of currency that players can use to accomplish things in a Virtual World. It can be used to execute certain actions, such as summoning Overvehicles or activating a Tower.
Once the energy is released (for example, after dematerializing an overvehicle), it will go back to its virtual world of origin.
Energy can currently be obtained in three ways:
It is possible that these actions do not grant any energy if a Software Attack prevents it from happening or if the virtual world ran out of energy.
Xanafied players can also steal energy from other players by devirtualizing them.
The amount of energy a virtual world can hold is dictated by its amount of available towers multiplied by 100. The only exception to this rule is the Cortex, whose only tower singlehandedly grants it a capacity of 500 energy. If a sector is destroyed, its towers will become unavailable and they will no longer provide any energy to the virtual world's reserves.
For example, Lyoko has 41 towers, meaning it can hold 4100 energy. However, if a surface sector is destroyed, 1000 energy points will be lost.
You might find yourself short of energy while your friend has plenty. It is possible to share energy with each other through the Virtual Menu.
Access the Virtual Menu and click the lightning button. There you can select a player to send energy to, and specify the amount.
You can't send energy to another player if:
It is also possible to send energy from the lab using the Supercomputer's reserves, as it can store up to 500 energy (usually used in conjunction with the Remote Tower Control program.)
To accomplish this, you can open the warrior's Communication Card actions and use the "transfer energy" option.
To recharge the supercomputer, you can use Sector Five's interface to send all the energy you currently hold to its storage.
There are three ways to check how much energy you currently hold:
As for the supercomputer, you must use the Supercomputer Status program.
