Sector Five is the most important sector of Lyoko. It contains the Skid Garage, along with the actual Skidbladnir, but also a maze and the core of Lyoko.
This sector is unique as it only has one Tower and no waytowers.
The arena is the starting point of Sector Five. You will be sent there when virtualizing to this sector or when taking the Transporter.
From there, you can choose to enter the maze by going forwards or to go directly to the Skid Garage by going backwards.
The Skid Garage is the place in which the Skidbladnir is kept.
The Skidbladnir can be entered by jumping in the middle of the energizing platform.
Once in the virtual submarine, you will be able to enter the Network and access the Volcano Replika and the Cortex. More Replikas will be available in the future, and some special ones may even appear during events.
The maze is the biggest part of Sector Five.
The maze will start a countdown of 10 minutes upon entering it. You will have to find the key before it gets to zero, otherwise the maze will start closing.
Keys have a multitude of different rooms they can spawn in, but the Future Flash and the WarriorSense can be used to find them.
Once the key is pressed, you will be able to access the celestial dome and Sector Five's tower.
Sector Five only has one tower. It can only be accessed once the maze's key is pressed.
This tower is notorious for being difficult to deactivate if you do not know its location. You will have to search for it in the maze.
Even if this tower is tower 1, it is not a waytower and can not be used to enter Code Earth or to save someone from the frontier.
The celestial dome is the exterior of Sector Five. It can only be accessed once the maze's key is pressed.
From the bridge, you can open Sector Five's interface. Thanks to it, you can perform several different actions:
You can also use an overvehicle to access the core chamber.
The core chamber is the room in which the core of Lyoko is hidden.
XANA will sometimes attempt to attack the core to destroy the Virtual World. However, it is protected by two shields, which will buy you time to kill all the monsters. Xanafied players can also start a core attack and damage the core alongside the monsters that will spawn.
If the core is destroyed, Lyoko won't truly be gone. It will simply lead you to a game over, but everything will be back to normal once you go back.
The core's status can be checked from the lab using the supercomputer. You will also receive a message once the first shield is destroyed to warn you about the attack.
