¶ Overvehicles
Overvehicles are types of vehicles usable in Virtual Worlds on MRCL.
At the moment, there are four different vehicles:
- Overbike
- Overwing
- Overboard
- Wings
The Wings function a little differently than the other vehicles and are only available to Angel players.
¶ Materialization
To spawn an Overvehicle, you must be virtualized. All vehicles cost 100 Energy.
Next, open the Virtual Menu, click on “Spawn Overvehicle” and then choose whichever you want.
If you spawn an Overvehicle while falling towards the Digital Sea, it will spawn under you to prevent you from falling into it.
You can also dematerialize your Overvehicle through the Virtual Menu. However, you won't be given the energy back.
¶ Driving
¶ Overwing, Overboard & Overbike
To mount an Overvehicle, right click it.
You can adjust the speed with the scroll wheel on your mouse.
To fly, hold right click. This will consume Nitro. It is consumed slowly if you are above the digital sea and looking up, so you have a chance to save yourself if you are falling.
¶ Wings
To fly with your Wings, simply press the space key twice. To stop flying, land on any surface.
If your stamina runs out, you start falling but you don't take any damage when landing on a surface.
Like the other Overvehicles, looking up above the sea also makes the stamina get consumed slowly.
If the Wings are summoned right above the digital sea, they will open automatically.
¶ Nitro/Stamina
Nitro represents how long you can fly with an Overvehicle. The Wings use Stamina, but they behave similarly.
Nitro/Stamina will regenerate over time, even while falling down. If you run out of Nitro/Stamina, the Overvehicle will begin falling.
As mentioned earlier, you will use less Nitro/Stamina if you're above the digital sea and looking up.
¶ Passengers
Another player can join you on an Overvehicle (except for the Wings) by right clicking it.
If the driver dismounts, the passenger becomes the driver. However, the original owner can still dematerialize the vehicle.
You can also kick an unwanted passenger out from the Virtual Menu (press L while driving).
¶ Waytowers
You can still use Waytowers while driving an Overvehicle. Simply approach the waytower and you will be taken directly to the transit tunnel.
¶ Limitations
These limitations do not apply to the Wings.
- Powers can't be used as a driver or as a passenger, aside from the WarriorSense which can be used through the Virtual Menu.
- Weapons can't be used as a driver or as a passenger.
