Upon virtualizing, you will realize the angel class does not have any weapons. However, right clicking for a second will spawn an energy field in your hand, for which you only get a couple seconds to throw (with left click).
The Energy Fields have a long range, but take a while to create, which doesn't make it the greatest melee class.
The Angel player can also create a shield out of two energy fields. To do so, Use Shift + Right Click for 1 second.
It will protect you from Monsters and Other Players' attacks, but it will break after taking a certain amount of damage.
Shields may also break after taking damage from your back, as the shield won't be able to defend you from it.
The Angel class has the particularity of having different powers in one.
There are four modes you can choose from, which all can be activated using Shift + Double Left Click.
To select your mode, simply Shift and Scroll until you find the one you want to use.
Creation mode allows you to create multiple sets of structures to help you explore Lyoko, or can even protect yourself from incoming attacks.
To change the structure you would like to build, simply scroll after entering creation mode.
To delete the built structure, press Shift + F.
Here are the different structures you can build :
- Wall: A wall that can prevent you from being chased or attacked. Using it on narrow paths might block that path temporarily. It can also be used to protect green towers.
- Air Platform: The only structure that can be placed in mid-air. It can also be placed right over the digital sea to save yourself or another player while another player comes to the rescue.
- Cocoon: This structure is mostly meant to protect yourself from threats around you, or trap an enemy inside it.
- Bridge: The Bridge only require one side on the floor for it to be placed correctly. It is mostly useful to cross big gaps, such as some in the mountain sector.
- Platform: Similar to the bridge, the platform also has stairs to get on. however, it has a different shape and can also be used to climb some higher locations.
Once you have chosen your structure, and that you placed it correctly, simply Right Click to create the structure. Warning: The creation mode does require a lot of AP, so the structure might not build itself if you don't have enough.
The Destruction mode is triggered almost the same way as creation mode, but the difference is that instead of creating blocks and platforms to your advantage, it is used to create a small hole to either make enemies fall to the digital sea or to access lower platforms.
Unlike creation mode, there is no variation of destruction mode.
This mode is mostly useful in combat, and is a passive way of defense, yet very useful and life-saving.
Upon activation, this mode will require you to target an entity, whether a monster or another player. Once you do, the entity will have their feet stuck in the ground for around five seconds, making them unable to move. They can however still fight back with their weapons.
This can also be used for strategy. Angel class being a long ranged fighter, getting some distance will give you a massive advantage, especially on an enemy standing still.
This mode showcases yet another of Angel's abilities. The one that allows you to create a clone of yourself.
It is mostly used to trick enemies and confuse them. The clone can't fight back and will just run around.
The clone will try to go to a selected spot, then come back and disappear, if the clone gets stuck at any moment, it'll begin to jump for a few seconds before disappearing.
To summon a clone of yourself, activate the clone mode with Shift + Double Left Click and then select a spot on the floor to spawn your clone.
Note: If your clone is not killed by the enemy, it will disappear after a few seconds. If it is killed before disappearing, you'll lose 20% of your health.
The Angel Class is the only one that has access to the wings. They are spawned like any other vehicle.
Unlike the Overvehicles, the Wings use Stamina and make you fly with more ease.
