¶ Lyoko Faction
The Lyoko Faction represents the Lyokowarriors' team. Their purpose is to defend Lyoko and destroy XANA and as such, are hostile to the XANA Faction but neutral towards the Cortex Faction. This faction is the default and all new players will automatically join it.
Although Lyokowarriors will activate towers for Jeremy, Franz Hopper is also considered to be part of this faction.
Currently, only XANA is capable of attacking Lyoko. It can do so through Tower Attacks, Core attacks in Sector Five and Software Attacks.
¶ Earth
Lyokowarriors have access to different locations on Earth which can be affected by XANA but may also contain useful items to defend from attacks. Most items can be found using the Kadikeon Program inside the laboratory of the factory, in which the Supercomputer and Scanners are also hidden.
Some other locations include the arcade to play minigames behind Kadic or the hermitage to find Franz Hopper's Diary. The city is currently unavailable and is under development.
Currently, there is no need to go to class at Kadic for anything other than roleplay purposes, but you can also observe NPCs moving around. Your expected timetable can be seen using the /myroutine command.
¶ Attacks
Different effects can be seen on Earth depending on the tower attack. They can usually be countered using items found at Kadic.
Most attacks will be noticed by people, which will raise awareness about XANA, causing the Television to talk about them until it reaches 100%, prompting a government agency to investigate the factory and discover Lyoko if a Return To The Past is not launched in time. The percentage can be monitored using the Threat Control program.

- The Lyoko Faction is the only faction to have two annexusers considered to be part of it (Jeremy & Franz Hopper).
