¶ Cortex Faction
The Cortex Faction represents the professor Lowell Tyron's team. Their purpose is to defend the Cortex from intruders and as such, are hostile to both the Lyoko and XANA factions.
Currently, the Cortex Faction can not be joined by players and Tyron can not activate any Towers outside of the Cortex, rendering it mostly inactive.
¶ Trivia
- Tyron was capable of launching tower attacks on Lyoko during the Anniversary 2024 demo event, showcasing possible future features. It is likely the faction will become more important in the future.
