¶ Scanners
Scanners are devices that allow Lyokowarriors to virtualize to Lyoko.
They can be used by a warrior by right-clicking while they are inside the scanner. They can also be triggered remotely using the Scanners Program at the lab interface.
¶ Scanner Modes
- Transference: the default mode of the scanners. It allows warriors to virtualize to a virtual world's sector.
- Diagnosis: this mode allows the scanner to analyze your health to detect DNA Issues. It has the same use as the health scan inside Towers.
¶ Scanner Boxes & Fuses
Scanner boxes are small boxes located near their corresponding scanner. They contain a fuse that can be destroyed by xanafied players.
A scanner fuse's destruction will lead to different consequences:
- The scanner will be unable to use the diagnosis mode
- The lab interface will be unable to interact with the scanner
- Warriors using the scanner to virtualize will arrive on the sector with only half of their health
- Warriors using the scanner to virtualize will have more chances to obtain DNA issues
- The scanner will not open if a warrior is devirtualized through it
Warriors will have to find a fuse to replace the broken fuse. They can be found using the Kadikeon program at the lab interface.
Laptops can also be connected to a scanner's box to interact with it.
