The April Fools 2026 event, also known as the Fan-Service Update temporarily added three new Virtual Classes, a new Interface Program, a randomized Return To The Past flash color and PNG Monster models.
It was announced through a trailer on YouTube falsely claimed to be leaked on the Discord server.
Three classes were added for this event. These were:
The class representing Tyron's Ninjas.
Ninjas had two swords just like the NPC Ninjas. They could use them as shields, but did not have any other powers.
The class representing Jeremy.
Operators had a Laptop as a weapon that could be used as a shield, but could not be placed down unlike their real world counterpart. They also had a single power: the Power of Love.
The Power of Love could turn enemies into allies. Using it on a player that was not already temporarily possessed would jeremify them (or xanafy them, if the operator was xanafied) while using it on a monster would make it part of the Lyoko Faction (or the XANA Faction, if the operator was xanafied.)
The class representing Sissi in the Code Lyoko fangame IFSCL, with permission from its creator, Immudelki.
Warrior Princesses had a chakram that could be thrown and would come back after hitting a block or entity or after a short amount of time has passed, capable of causing damage even while returning. Just like every other weapon, it could also be used as a shield. This class had two powers: Hurricane and Battle Cry.
The Battle Cry played a sharp sound, healing all allies around the player.
The Hurricane generated a tornado around the player which strongly pushed back all entities that came too close to it.
The Jump To The Future was a program in the lab that resembled the return to the past, although with a blue tint. When used, it would send the user under the factory bridge with a sign simply saying "unemployment".
During the first day of the event, a Doomsday event was launched which consisted in every Tower of Lyoko getting activated by XANA at once. Upon deactivating them all, a prompt would appear telling the players they could see the a trailer for the Network Update early as a reward, but accepting would lead them to a video of Never Gonna Give You Up.
Successful players also received an advancement for completing the event.
